We have an unrivalled selection of music from the 1920's to 1940's to get your chosen vintage event swinging. We are available to hire for Roaring 20s events where you can step all the way back to the 1920s, or perhaps the dance bands from the 1930s are your cup of tea, or do you want revisit the 1940's themed events that depict life on the British Home Front during WWII where only Home Guard or allied forces on leave are depicted alongside those left at home. Whichever is your passion we have just the right music for you.
Hi, I'm Shaun Moncaster, I have over 30 years experience as a mobile DJ in all music genres, but having my main interest in the music from the 1920's to 1980's, I decided that it was time to concentrate on my first love in music. Feeling the lack of interest I have in the general direction of modern music, it seems fitting to concentrate on vintage type events and, in particular, my daytime job which is managing The UK 1940s Radio Station and the British Home Front Radio Service, so catering for 1930s and 1940's home front events comes very naturally.
I also have a team of very accomplished and trusted Swing Jive DJs that I can call on to undertake any bookings I am unable to attend due to prior commitments
I am able to cope with high profile events and yet still provide the personal touch when providing entertainment for family celebrations. Prices for a 4 hour 1940's style dance night start from just £300.00. Our possibilities are only limited by your budget. Please check out our price guide below for further details. I can also recommend various singers and dance bands in addition to our DJ Service to provide even more swing to the entertainment.

Indoor 4 hour evening dance £300.00 plus travel * Indoor all day function including evening £600.00 plus travel *
For Outdoor Functions
We would require a very sturdy watertight gazebo or tent to be provided and a suitable 50hz 240 Volt 13 Amp power supply.
Additional Performance Time
Additional time is charged at £50 per hour if booked in advance. If requested on the day and we have no prior commitments, additional time would be charged at £60.00 per hour.
